Emotion Code vs Body Code vs Belief Code: What’s the Difference?
If you’ve been looking into energy healing or this type of work (or even exploring my website), you may have come across the terms The Emotion Code, The Body Code, and The Belief Code.
Naturally, the question from new clients often comes up:
“What’s the difference? And which one do I actually need?”
Firstly - in my sessions, I don’t consciously decide which one you need.
I always use The Body Code, which encompasses both the Emotion Code and the Belief Code, and I allow your subconscious mind to direct me to what needs to be released.
Sometimes within a session, all three will come up.
If a belief system arises, I’ll use the Belief Code.
If trapped emotions arise (which is the most common imbalance), I’ll use the Emotion Code.
And when other imbalances come up - like physical disconnections, circuitry imbalances, toxins, or other energetic issues - I work within the Body Code itself.

What is The Emotion Code?
The Emotion Code focuses on just one thing.
Releasing trapped emotions from the body.
These are emotions that weren’t fully processed at the time they happened.
Not just during big traumatic events either.
Sometimes it’s smaller, less significant moments, like:
A stressful conversation when you were already overwhelmed
A car pulling out in front of you when you were already feeling sick, tired, or run down
Other unmemorable moments throughout your day when your body simply didn’t have the capacity to fully process what you felt
Instead of moving through you as they naturally should, these emotions become stuck in the body.
Over time, trapped emotions can contribute to issues such as:
Anxiety
Emotional reactivity
Physical discomfort
Unwanted relationship patterns
Feeling stuck without knowing why
The Emotion Code is an energy healing system that helps identify and release these trapped emotions - so they’re no longer weighing you down.
What Is the Body Code?
The Body Code essentially builds on top of the Emotion Code.
It is a much broader system, that works by identifying and releasing underlying imbalances in the body. You can read a full breakdown of what the Body Code is here.
Instead of focusing only on emotions, it looks at:
All types of imbalances in the body.
This can include:
Energetic imbalances (including trapped emotions, but also beyond that - this also includes the Belief Code)
Pathogens
System and circuitry imbalances
Physical disconnections and structural misalignments
Toxins in the body
Lifestyle and nutrition
Think of it like this:
Emotion Code = one piece of the puzzle
Body Code = the full system
The Body Code allows us to ask your subconscious:
“What is the biggest imbalance affecting you right now?”
And then identify and release it.
While releasing trapped emotions alone can be incredibly helpful in many situations, sometimes there are other pieces to the puzzle that this alone cannot fully resolve.
That’s where the Body Code comes in.

What Is the Belief Code?
This is where the work can move into the deeper subconscious beliefs shaping the pattern.
The Emotion Code often focuses on trapped emotions. The Body Code looks more broadly at imbalances across the body, mind, energy system and subconscious.
The Belief Code focuses specifically on subconscious belief systems — the long-standing patterns running quietly in the background, influencing how you think, feel, respond, choose, and what you allow into your life.
These beliefs do not always show up as obvious thoughts. Sometimes they show up as procrastination, emotional reactions, relationship patterns, money blocks, self-sabotage, physical symptoms, or the same issue repeating even when you consciously know better.
With the help of your subconscious, we identify the belief system that is ready to be released, clear the supporting imbalances holding it in place, and release the structure at the root.
This is why Belief Code work can create such deep shifts.
You can release emotions all day long, but if a belief system is still running underneath, the same pattern may keep recreating itself.
This is why belief work often creates the biggest shifts.
Because when a belief changes, it affects:
How you think
How you feel
How you respond
What you choose
What you expect
What you allow into your life
