What To Expect In Your First Session
If you’re reading this, I imagine you’re quite new to The Emotion Code, The Body Code, and The Belief Code - and are likely considering your first session. What an exciting place to be.
When my clients first come to me, they tend to have a wide range of experiences with this kind of work. Some already know a lot about these modalities and may have tried all sorts of holistic therapies before. Others are completely new to energy healing. Wherever you are on that spectrum, it’s all okay.
Let’s Get Real First. If you’re looking for a quick fix or a magic pill, then The Emotion Code, Body Code, and Belief Code are probably not for you.
Yes, it is possible to see immediate results from a single session. Many people do. But true, deep, and life-lasting transformation usually takes more than one session. Like anything meaningful, this work compounds. The people who see the biggest shifts (and yes, it is absolutely possible to completely transform your life in a relatively short time) are the ones who commit to consistent sessions over a period of time.
Now, if you’re still reading after that little disclaimer, I’ll assume you’re serious about transforming your life. So let’s get to it - what can you actually expect in your first session?
1. Choosing How Your Session is Delivered
I conduct all my sessions remotely - either via email or phone.
Most clients prefer email sessions because they require no time on your part and can happen quietly in the background while you go about your day. You simply receive the full report of what was released and uncovered afterwards.
You might wonder: “But how does remote energy work even work?” The short answer is: energy doesn’t care about distance. Whether you’re in the same room with me or on the other side of the world, the results are equally as effective.
2. The Flow of a First Session
Before we even start.
When you book, I’ll ask you a few simple questions to set the focus for your session. You can share as little or as much as you’d like. This isn’t talk therapy, so you don’t need to give me every detail or revisit painful memories unless you want to. Simply describing your current symptoms - physical, emotional, or mental - is the most effective starting point.
For example, you may tell me things like:
“I’ve been feeling anxious and on edge.”
“I keep stressing about money and I can’t relax - it’s always on my mind.”
“I get this tightness in my chest whenever I think about work, I’m so stressed and I can’t sleep.”
“I’ve had this back/knee/shoulder pain for X years, and it just won’t go away, no matter what I try.”
“I’ve been feeling down and lonely, almost hopeless, and I don’t know how to shift it.”
“I’m exhausted all the time and I don’t know why.”
That’s more than enough. Your subconscious already knows the deeper details. My job is simply to connect with it and uncover what’s ready to be released.
During the session.
Once the session begins, I connect with your subconscious using muscle testing. This lets me ask direct yes/no questions to pinpoint trapped emotions, old belief systems, or energetic imbalances that are creating the symptoms you’re experiencing. I use the Body Code app to help identify and categorise what comes up, so we can clearly see what your system is ready to release. No guesswork, no analysis - just clear answers from your body.
The release.
Once something has been identified, I release it energetically. Some clients feel lighter or calmer immediately, while others notice shifts unfolding gradually over the next few days or weeks. Either way, your body will only release what it’s truly ready for.
3. After the Session
After the session, I will send you a report with everything that was released.
Once the session is complete, your body continues doing the work. This is what we call the processing period, and it’s completely normal.
For about 1–2 days afterwards, your system will be integrating the changes and adjusting to the release. During this time, you might notice things like:
emotional ups and downs (feeling teary or irritable, then lighter again)
vivid dreams
changes in sleep (trouble falling asleep, or sleeping more deeply than usual)
mild fatigue or low energy
Sometimes it can even feel like things get a little worse before they get better. For example, you might feel extra emotional, more tired than usual, or notice old aches flare up for a day. This doesn’t mean the session “didn’t work” - it simply means your body is clearing out what’s been stuck, and this can briefly bring it to the surface. Think of it like the soreness you sometimes feel after a good workout or deep tissue massage - uncomfortable in the moment, but a sign that your system is resetting.
These sensations are temporary and usually pass within a couple of days. Not everyone feels them, but if you do, know that it’s just your body recalibrating after letting go of old trapped emotions and energies.
You’ll also receive a report detailing everything that was identified and released in your session. This is purely for your reference — you don’t need to act on it or do anything with it. In fact, if you’d rather not look at it at all, that’s completely fine too. All the work has already been done.
The best thing you can do during this time is simply allow your body to integrate: drink water, rest if you feel called to, and be gentle with yourself.
4. The Bigger Picture
One session can absolutely make a difference - and many clients notice real shifts straight away. But the deepest, most life-changing results usually come with consistency.
This work is like peeling back layers. Each session reveals and releases what your subconscious is most ready to let go of in that moment. Over time, the results compound: clients often find they react differently to situations that used to trigger them, long-standing physical symptoms ease, and they naturally step into new patterns of thought, behaviour, and self-belief.
Because we’re working at the subconscious level, these shifts don’t require willpower or constant effort - they simply unfold as your old programming is released.

You don’t need to “prepare” or know exactly what you want to work on - your subconscious will guide the session. All you need is the willingness to show up, and to be open to change.
